By downloading, installing, or using Spend Sync (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Use License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. User Responsibilities
Data Backup
You are solely responsible for backing up your data. Spend Sync is not responsible for data loss due to device failure, uninstallation, or other causes. We provide Google Drive backup integration for your convenience.
API Costs
If you use "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) AI features (e.g., connecting your OpenAI or Gemini API key), you are responsible for any usage charges incurred from those third-party providers. Spend Sync is not affiliated with these providers and does not collect fees on their behalf.
Security
You are responsible for keeping your device and API keys secure.
4. AI Features & Accuracy
The App uses Artificial Intelligence to interpret natural language inputs. AI technology can make mistakes. You agree to verify all transaction details (amounts, categories, dates) generated by the AI before saving them. We are not responsible for financial discrepancies caused by AI errors.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its code, design, and original content, is the intellectual property of the developer and is protected by copyright laws.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spend Sync and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or financial loss, arising out of your use of the App.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
